  • Day-01

    You will receive a warm welcome at the airport. After landing we will travel to Habarana (late arrivals stay in Negombo) to spend the night in a hotel.

    Day-02

    We will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site: Sigiriya Rock. It is located in an ancient Kingdom ruled by King Kashyapa 477 CE. Sigiriya is also known as ‘Lion Rock’, because of the major two lion paws that function as an entry gate about halfway up the rock. The area is beautifully maintained and the rock offers the most amazing view!

    In the afternoon we will go to see the Dambulla Cave Temple. This is a Buddhist Monastery which was build by King Valagamba. There are 5 caves located there that are open for visit.

    The second night we will stay in a hotel in Habarana.

    Day-03

    We will go to visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage early in the morning. It is an orphanage where you can feed Sri Lankan baby elephants a bottle of milk. There are over 100 elephants in this orphanage. You can experience their daily routines such as the feeding and bathing.

    After visiting the elephants we will drive to Kandy. This is the cultural heart of Sri Lanka and its second capital. The city is surrounded with beautiful mountains and Tea Plantations. In the evening we will watch a Kandyan Cultural Show. Here you will experience traditional Sri Lankan dances, music and instruments. Please take the opportunity to walk around Kandy Lake. This is an artificial lake that was build by the King in 1807 and is also know as the Sea of Milk.

    We will stay the night at a hotel in Kandy.

    Day-04

    In the early morning we will visit Sri Dalada Maligawa, which is well known as the Temple of the Tooth Relic. This used to be the Royal Palace of the Kandy Kingdom. The palace was built for King Wimaladharmasoorya and it houses the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha. Every year in July or August the city pays homage to the relic of the tooth by hosting one of the oldest and grandest Buddhist festival called the Perahera.

    After visiting Kandy, we will continue the tour to Negombo. This city is also known “Little Rome” and its population is mainly Catholic. You can visit the Dutch fort, old Portuguese and Dutch houses, Dutch canals, churches and ceiling frescos of Saint Mary’s  Cathedral. We will stay the night at a hotel in Negombo.

    Day-05

    On this day you will fly back home and we will make sure to drop you off at the airport on time.

    After our visit, we will head off to Kandy. This is the cultural heart of Sri Lanka and its second capital. The city is surrounded with beautiful mountains and Tea Plantations.

    In the evening we will watch a Kandyan Cultural Show. Here you will experience traditional Sri Lankan dances, music and instruments. Please take the opportunity to walk around Kandy Lake. One of its biggest attractions is Gregory Lake and the Race course. Horton Plains National Park is also situated in Nuwara Eliya. It is plateau at an altitude of 2100m – 2300m from sea level. It is rich in biodiversity. There are lots Flora and Fauna and it is the highest place in Sri Lanka. The temperature is a lot colder than anywhere else in Sri Lanka. It has an average temperature of 16 degrees Celsius.

    We will spend the night in a lovely hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

    Day-05

    After visiting Nuwara Eliya, we will leave to Negombo. This city is also known “Little Rome” and its population is mainly Catholic.     The final two days we will relax at the beach. You can also visit the local fish market, as fishing boats will daily come to shore to drop off their catch.

    In the afternoon we will leave to Habarana. Here we will spend the night in a nice hotel.

    In the morning we will take the most breathtaking train ride of your life! We will take off to Ella. You are going to enjoy the train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella. It will take up about 2 hours and 30 minutes. During this time you will enjoy the most amazing panoramic views.

    Ella is a small vibrant, mountain town, which is surrounded with cloud forests and tea plantations. It is a very popular tourist town in Sri Lanka, especially for back packers. There are many great things to see here and do not forget to bring your walking shoes, as many of these places cannot be reached by tuktuk! Famous tourist attractions are: Dhowa Temple, Bambaragala Peak, Ella Rock, Little Adams Peak, Ravana Ella, Nine Arches Bridge.

    We will pick you up from Ella railway station and spend the night in a hotel in Ella. You can enjoy the beautiful views there and enjoy the night life.

    Day-07

    After visiting Ella, we will go to Tissamaharama. This city is situated in the Southern Province. It’s also known as Kingdom of Ruhuna. You can visit  Tissamaharama Temple and Kataragama Temple.

    We will stay the night at the hotel in Tissamaharama.

    Day-08

    We will continue our trip to Yala National Park. This is the largest National Park in Sri Lanka. The animals you want to spot are the  Sri Lankan elephants, bears, crocodiles and a large variety of birds. The most famous are the Sri Lankan leopards! They can be spotted mostly early in the morning.

    After the safari we will leave to Galle to spend the night in a hotel.

    Day-09 & 10

    Galle is one of the major cities in Sri Lanka. It is 120km away from Colombo. The Portuguese arrived to Galle in the 16th Century, followed by the Dutch in the 18th Century. There are still some Portuguese architectural styles and traditions to be found here. The popular places to visit are the Dutch Fort and the Dutch Church. The Galle Fort was the most famous place in the colonial period. Galle is surrounded with beautiful beaches (Unawatuna, Koggala and Weligama).

    We will stay here for two days to tan and to relax at your favourite beach.

    Day-11

    On this day you will fly back home and we will make sure to drop you off at the airport on time.

    Day-04

You may also visit the very famous Koneshwaram Hindu temple and the Hot Water Wells. Fun activities here are snorkelling and diving. Otherwise just chill at the beach and work on your tan! Many restaurants and bars can be found here.

    We will stay the night at a hotel in Trincomalee.

    Day-06
