Yala

Very famous National Park in Sri Lanka. Located in the Southern Province, bordering the Indian Ocean. It’s situated 300km from Colombo.

Wilpaththu

Largest and oldest National Park in Sri Lanka. It is located in the North West Coast and it’s very famous for keeping the Sri Lankan leopards.

Udawalawa

It’s bordering Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces. It is an important habitat for water birds and the Sri Lankan elephants.

Wasgamuwa

Wasgamuwa is situated in Mathale and Polonnaruwa districts. It is a protected area for Sri Lankan elephants and a variety of birds.

Minneriya

This is situated in Mathale, Polonnaruwa and Trincomallee districts. It is also popular for birds and Sri Lankan elephants.

Kumana

Situated in Yala East National Park. Kumana National Park  is renowned for its avifauna, particularly its large flocks of migratory waterfowl and wading birds.
